  • Sometimes the exams are tough. But if you are well prepared you might tackle them. There are no other bad things about the university. The small drawback for my course I can say is We have to choose between Pharmaceutical and Industrial Biotechnology as majors. But that's fine because if we want the particular topic from other major we can choose them to study attend the lectures and also give the exams.

Course Curriculum:

The course is diverse and has many sub topics such as Molecular Biotechnology, Metabolic engineering, System Biology along with that there's the inclusion of Biotechnology of Phototrophic plants. The whole curriculum is best with the top notch Professors. Practicals are conducted in such a way that one can improve analytical techniques. Course is up to date for this modern era! One who wants to work in prestigious companies such as Bayer , BASF one must really think of getting into Martin-Luther-Universität for this course. Also keep in mind that the course is quite tough and needs lot of prep. There's a lot of freedom for this course. Student can decide when to give the final exams every semester. One can decide what to study if they want to attend their favorites modules and give the exams too.

Fees:

Tuition fees ranges around 250-300 euros per semester. And the travelling charges are also included in the fees. So that the student can access the public transport with the Student Card. Also on that card , students can access the discounts in shops,Libraries printers, travelling and mensa. Also there are part time jobs available which can help students to manage their finances.
