 The master's degree in organizational communication is an answer to the increased importance of communication for organizations in various fields of activity. As a master's degree in communication science, he deals with the social conditions, consequences, and meanings of various forms of communication in relation to organizations and the process of organizing. The Master of Organizational Communication is, therefore, both research and application-oriented.

The University of Greifswald does not demand a typical tuition fee. Students have to pay 82 USD per semester as Semester contribution and 107 USD once as enrolment fee. 


Eligibility & Entry Requirement

A first professional university degree (usually a bachelor's degree) in a degree in communication science or a comparable subject is required.

Prior to commencing studies, students will be required to provide proof of German language proficiency. The following certificates are recognized by the University of Greifswald for applications to a full degree course:

  • the ‘Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang ausländischer Studienbewerber’ (DSH) at least level 2*
  • the ‘Deutsche Sprachdiplom der Kultusministerkonferenz’ (level 2)
  • the Goethe-Zertifikat C2 from the Goethe Institute
  • the ‘Test Deutsch als Fremdsprache’ (Test DaF), at least level 4 in all partial examinations*
  • the certificate ‘telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule’
  • a completed degree in German Studies, an assessment test with German as an examination subject.
