Philosophy students should gain insight into the historical and systematic diversity of philosophical problems: They should learn to expand and deepen their specialist knowledge and skills through independent scientific work. The students should acquire the ability to interpret historical and contemporary philosophical approaches, theories and systems appropriately and to judge them according to rational criteria, as well as to methodically reflect on requirements that are taken for granted in everyday experience or in the sciences.
