  • Only few English taught courses. Although you can survive comfortably with only English. Somehow German is required to integrate with the local population. Feels like you are in this small comfortable university bubble. Need German to get out of it.

Course Curriculum:

The curriculum is designed very well for someone who wants to pursue research (PhD) as next step in the career. You work in multiple labs to get exposure and finally choose your topic of interest for master thesis. You are also free to take a semester break and go to industry and gain some experience. The most amazing this is that you dont have to finish in 2 years. You can take some time to explore and be confident in whatever you want to do in life.

Fees:

No tuition fees. But you pay around 300 euros per semester as student contribution to the transport facility (you can get free ticket for transportation in the entire state) and for student union, etc. this amount is minimal for what we receive. (in my opnion)

  • The course can be somewhat difficult at times as there are a lot of things to manage at once, i.e., studying, working and doing other chores. You need to adjust to the weather and focus on your health.

Course Curriculum:

Very relevant syllabus. Studies are more research focused.

Fees:

Their is no tuition fee. You do need to pay a semester fee which includes public transportation costs. It is approximately 300 euros per semester.

  • Dislikes:
  • There is not enough emphasis on the fields of analog design and RF here. Also my course contains some courses that are not really necessary. There is work going on from the student council side to make the course more streamlined for Nanoelectronics so hopefully this will change soon.

Course Curriculum:

It is a good syllabus and we do get knowledge and training to make us ready for the industry.

Fees:

There is no tuition fees for our course in the university. We have only semester fees, which cover the cost of the transport ticket and the student union fee.

  • There isn't anything that I dislike about my university. The professors who take lectures are well experienced in their domain and has extensive research topics under them. The university offers multiple master programs in English and heartily welcomes international students.

Course Curriculum:

The course curriculum is well structured and is updated on a regular basis (every semester) as per industry requirements. Students are free to choose modules based on their field of interest like design, technology or application in this course. The course offers access to state-of-the-art technology labs related to semiconductor synthesis. The modules provide hands-on experience through regular tutorials, projects etc. Often, students with exceptional grades in a module are invited to work in the research projects under the specific professor.

Fees:

There is no tuition fee at the university. Every semester, one has to pay about 300 euros for covering the expenses of transportation (i.e. the traveling expenses within the city are covered for a semester with some exceptions).

  • I haven't come across anything that i dislike. And i believe in the future also it wouldn't be there. The University is trying in every single way to indulge students in diversified activities and make the environment international.

Course Curriculum:

The majority component of my course was research only. I had many industrial visits and visits to other research institutes to learn the application level of the material I was developing the lab and also to get exposed to the world class technological developments in polymer science.

Fees:

Tuition fee per semester was €291. In this amount students will get a semester ticket with which the students can freely use the public transport including buses, trains, and trams. Even students will get access to rental cycles for free using the semester ticket. Also students can get discounted meals from the University canteen.

  • Nothing much was there to dislike. You may miss home sometimes, native people may sometimes seem cold and unwelcoming and cold weather can be a little testing but it's being very critical. It's a top class university with good faculty and Facilities.

Course Curriculum:

Course syllabus is up do date and also have practical applications. Hands on industry collaboration in final project.

Fees:

Tuition fee was around 250€ per month.

  • Dislikes:
  • The university schedules classes between 7:00AM and 8:00PM depending on the course, and during winter it gets really difficult to make it to the classes be it early morning or late evening as it is very cold and dark in the morning and the sun sets at about 4:00PM in the evening.

Course Curriculum:

The course is highly advanced with up to date content including research and industrial experience.

Fees:

Approximately 300 Euros every semester (6 months)

  • Dislikes:
  • Masters courses that are in the Centre for Cellular & Molecular Biology (Molecular bioengineering, physics of life and regeneration biology) are in another part of the city and doesn't really possess the student atmosphere seen in the main campus. Moreover, recently there has been a great increase in number of students, causing some issues in organisation of lectures and all.

Course Curriculum:

It's updated every semester with most of the lectures following research going on instead of a particular text book or fixed study materials. We are able to directly participate in research work especially from third semester when we have a mini thesis to work on. There is a lot of effort going on to make the curriculum interdisciplinary as the research is also mostly done in collaboration between different research institutes.

Fees:

There are no tuition fees but there is a semester contribution fee of 304.50 euros to be paid every semester. But that gives us access to student discount in canteens and free access to public transport in the state of Saxony.

faculty: 8/10

  • Dislikes:
  • The program is in English and one can complete their studies without any knowledge of German. However, if one wants to attend lectures from advanced courses, they need German proficiency. I wish there were more advanced courses taught in English.

Course Curriculum:

The program is very contemporary with interdisciplinary studies to choose from.

Fees:

There's no tuition fees, just a minimal semester registration fee equivalent to around INR 24,000.

  • Dislikes:
  • Nothing as such. But few minor things are some course which are very area specific are not having much job opportunities. So I think choosing the location as per the interests of the subjects matters a lot.

Course Curriculum:

They are up to date as per the industry standards. I think if anyone is interested in semiconductor field . I suggest the Dresden University would be best for Nanoelectronics and technology related core work opportunities.

Fees:

I had zero tuition fee. I had examination fee of 300 euros per 6 month.

Can I get admission for MSc psychotherapy if I do not have psychology in bachleors
R

No, you cannot apply for the Master of Science (M.Sc) program in Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy without completing a bachelor's degree in Psychology or a related program. You need a recognized university degree that qualifies for a profession of at least six semesters in psychology or a degree from a public or state-approved university of cooperative education in Psychology.
