The Master in Accounting and Auditing is aimed at employees of auditing companies who want to prepare for the auditing exam and the profession of auditor while working. By interlinking theory and practice, it represents a decisive step on the way to becoming an auditor.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- A Bachelor (B.Sc.) or comparable degree in the following disciplines:
- Economics
- Jurisprudence
- Proof of six months of practical experience in the auditing department
- Successful completion of a written entrance exam
- Proof of successful completion of an oral entrance examination
- Proof of proficiency in English
Indian Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Most of the courses at the RUB are held in German. Students must therefore have sufficient knowledge of German and provide evidence by obtaining one of the following language certificates:
- TestDaF with at least 16 points within an examination
- DSH (level 2 or 3)
- German Language Diploma - DSD - II
- ZOP or Goethe Certificate C2 from the Goethe Institute
- KDS or GDS from the Goethe Institute
- ÖSD language diploma C1
- telc German C1 Hochschule
- Assessment test (examination part German)
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
