  • In the Bayreuth master's program "Biotechnology and Chemical Process Engineering", students learn to tackle these challenges with a high level of engineering expertise and to participate in the development of innovative products and processes. 
  • The interdisciplinary focus of the course promotes the ability to use new knowledge for technological applications.
  • In personal contact with their lecturers, the students are introduced to current issues in the fields of bioprocess engineering, chemical process engineering and bio-inspired materials.
  •  You will get to know future-oriented solutions. At the same time, the students are able to work on application-related projects independently. Interdisciplinary skills complete the training.
  • The students choose one of three individual specializations. You have to earn a total of 120 ECTS points, which result from the following areas:
    • General modules (55 ECTS)
    • Choice of a specialization (35 ECTS): Bio-inspired materials; Bioprocess engineering or chemical process engineering
    • Master's thesis (30 ECTS)
