- The master's degree in industrial engineering, based on a first professional qualification, conveys in-depth, application-oriented specialist knowledge.
- With the modules of the master's program, The university enables the students to broaden their horizons with regard to the classic topics of industrial engineering. In addition, they also go deeper and penetrates theoretical concepts more extensively.
- In this way, they develop the ability to subject-specific problems in the classic areas of industrial engineering in industry, commerce, and administration as well as in scientific research to independently and qualify for managerial positions in these areas. The orientation of the course content is more scientifically oriented and therefore also provides the qualification for a doctorate.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
- Completed a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, business administration or in a generally closely related course with at least 210 ECTS points.
- With a degree with 180 ECTS points, there are either the option of completing a BAföG-funded adjustment semester or the missing ECTS -Points to be earned in parallel to the master’s course until registration for the master’s thesis.
- A proportion of 30 ECTS points in engineering and economics modules must be demonstrated. If the proof is not provided, the admissions committee imposes requirements to complete additional modules to the required extent.
- Work experience of at least 12 weeks (internships within the framework of the first degree are counted)
- If no internship was completed, conditions are imposed.
