Faculty teaching is very good and one to one interaction is also happening
Weather and beautiful scenes of nature as well as the monkeys.

Dislikes

The food is quite bad sometimes and the mai trance of hostels.
Disappointing placement because our college is not getting advantage of IIT-M

IIIT Kancheepuram- Best in terms of Academics!!!

Academics is very nice. Proper scheduled classes is going on.
Sports Facility is very nice. All the sports equipment are there including Gym

Dislikes

Mess food is little bit below the mark. Hygiene is not maintained properly.
Washing Machine facility is bad. Only 5 washing machine in each hostel of 14 floors.

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester,you can apply for placements.Overall placement is 81.13% and for CSE it is 92%. Almost 400+ placement offers were made and almost 48 companies visited the campus including Microsoft. 2 days back 4 students of ECE department have got 32LPA package from VISA company.I have to go for civil services.

We have huge campus to room around and to explore with good facilities of laboratories and for sports
We have big playground different for both football and cricket with well trained coach where you can have an expert experience in your gameplay

Dislikes

The best facilities in the hostels are a bit poor as the quality of the food and taste does not match the standards of a central recognised University
The college is a bit far away from the main stream of Chennai

Placement Experience:

Placements of the college are moderately good back in the year of 2020 it was very good the average package was also very good but this time due to recession we have placed a bit less students as to our expectance but surely we have qualified well skilled students out of the camps supplement cell has worked very well for the building of the placement of the campus the day and night of their hard work has resulted to bring out many companies for the college students have regressively applied for these companies with putting all their efforts but due to the recession we had faced issues and many of the students are also planning to purse you there in the university outside the countries as they are going for the highest studies MBA and even for the mtech a number of about 144 students have been placed out 360 and also even after this placements companies are still coming to college and students are still applying and there are opportunity that they will get selected even now in placement

The curriculum is design oriented through which students are offered 6 courses one each in 6 semesters which helps in develop creative thinking in students.
Institute supports all round development in students like sports, technical and cultural activities along with academics.

Dislikes

Club culture can be improved. It is not developed yet completely.

Placement Experience:

Few Final-year students choose to pursue MS, MBA, or MTech. The rest of the students can register themselves for placements. The Placement drive happens in the college every month throughout the year for final-year students.

I liked how students are involved in technical activities.
I liked how the faculties are very interactive which we don't find common in other institutes.

Dislikes

There are not much things to dislike about the college but the communication gap between north indian students and south indian students
Mess menu is not properly designed but it is improving day by day

Placement Experience:

The placement records of the course is quite impressive. The recent statistics of placement shows that the 2020-2024 batch has received an average annual salary of 11.91 LPA and the Dual Degree students with various specialization have received an average of 19+ LPA. Almost all the big tech companies visit the campus for on campus recruitment

I liked the way lecturers utilize class hours to help students with their studies
faculty help us choose our career and provide projects to include in our resume

Dislikes

i really dont like the mess food then could really improve it
coming to hostel we dont have proper security like if we leave our door for 20 min anything ma miss from our room

Placement Experience:

from 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements and internships mathworks, tata, cognigent, samsung, tcs etc and upto 50% of the students will get offers highest is 40 LPA and average is 12 LPA overall but i dont know exactly as i told before 50% are being placed i am trying to do mtech through gate

Different Club's, sports activities are best in the college..one thing I dislike in iiiitdm is campus is very small is about 55 acres only.. placements are also not upto the mark I like infrastructure of the campus
Placements needs to improved,I don't like mess food in the campus

Placements of our College is not good as expected this year.7 th semester and 8th semester students are eligible for placement offers. Amd, Intel famous semiconductor MNCs visits. 30 offers are made. My plan is to clear upsc after getting degree

Infrastructure and other facilities of our college
Laboratory facilities of our college are also good

Our college curriculum is so hectic than other college
Our administration is quite disappointing

Placement Experience:

Our college offer decent placement opportunities to students with average placements 9lac in 2023. Most of students prefered higher studies. Highest placement of 2023 is 32lpa. There are fraction amount companies are visiting our college in the field of finance and security.

i liked the atmosphere in the campus and the hostel life
i liked the way the professors take class

Dislikes

the unavailablity of the water between 11 and 5
we cant wear shorts inside the academic block for classes

Placement Experience:

In the sixth semester you will be eligible for campus placements the highest package in our college is 57 lakhs and tthe average package is 10 lakhs more than 95 percentage of the students are placed every year

i love the green ennvironment around me and 2 persons in a room is akso ok
as i am a telugu guy most of the people here are from ap and telangana it's good

Dislikes

food sometimes is bad but we'll take pickles such kinda things to manage
frequent power loss and ethernet loss so we cant use intenet

from third year we are eligible for placements and some companies like tata and google and microsoft and some other semiconductor companies will visit our college and also oour college highest package is 40 lakh

Likes

College has a good environment and with full of greenery and serene beauty.
Faculty are very patient in understanding students from various backgrounds and various mentalities.

Dislikes

Sometimes the restrictions regarding college entry time are not that student friendly.
Late night canteens are not available which is a problem.

Placement Experience:

Placements of colleger are good.We have a decent percentage of 70 percent students getting jobs in placement.Many more students also go into research field which makes our college NIRF innovation rank 8th. I am planning to do job or thinking of going towards research after my tech.
