  • I stayed in a hostel of the college. The rooms were small and expensive. The food provided did not have many vegetarian or Indian options. Most Indians don't stay in the hostel. I was fortunate to get a bigger room for myself due to Covid restrictions.

Course Curriculum:

There was an emphasis on soft courses that improved the communication skills and personality of the students. Most of the subjects were basic but kept us busy with assignments.

Fees:

For the 2 year course it was around CAD $22,000.

  • Dislikes:
  • They do not offer courses in summer also no help to university students to find first internship or job. Other universities have their dedicated portal and help to find students first job but it is not available at Winnipeg university

Course Curriculum:

Course options are not that much great comapared to other university. You have to do certain courses in order to finish masters which you are not interested in.

  • Dislikes:
  • Because we are in downtown, the safety can be a concern especially for late night classes. However, there are measures in place to assist students when they need. Such as, having someone to walk to and from your car, bus stop, or even your home (within a certain radius)

Course Curriculum:

I loved the courses. Syllabi were always accurate. I took two research courses and built great relationships with my professors. I ended up doing extra research on the side because of this! And this is what helped me get my job.

Fees:

$4000/year (but again, I am local to Winnipeg)

  • Dislikes:
  • The University is a bit under rated and now overcrowded with international students. Some courses hardly have any Canadian students removing the Canadian perspective all international students look forward for.

Course Curriculum:

The syllabus is very relevant to Canadian market and industry in specific. Instructors are active industry professionals. An Un paid Co-op in industry is part of course and company options to apply facilitated.

Fees:

20,000 CAD for 13 months course.

Course Curriculum:

The Course Curriculum is very well managed. However, the course material in some courses varies to the different professors, sometimes a bad professor can affect your whole course. Moreover, I found every course up-to-date with the latest course material.

Fees:

When I applied for admission, it mentioned a range between $11,730 - $19,130 for business students. I paid a total of $15,959 during my first year and I would recommend students make sure that their finances allow them to go the maximum amount annually for the total term of their degree because every course has different fees and it can completely go wrong if you are only able to afford the lowest range.

Course Curriculum:

The courses are really updated and very interesting. You don't study about a particular course but you also study humanities and stuff which is an interesting point.

The main reason was that it had small classrooms and a good environment so that I can easily make interactive learning with my teacher.
