Students receive an introduction to programming, software development fundamentals, as well as database fundamentals. Once the foundation has been established, students learn about SQL Databases, Business Intelligence Solutions, Cloud Data Platform and Big Data Analytics Solutions, as well as Transact-SQL and implementing Data Models and Reports.
Students also learn Project + to prepare them for future leadership roles.
Database analysts design, develop and administer data management solutions using database management software. Data administrators develop and implement data administration policy, standards and models. Information systems analysts and consultants analyze systems requirements, develop and implement information systems development plans, policies and procedures, and provide advice on a wide range of information systems issues.
