- The Master of Professional Engineering (Electrical and Electronic) is designed to facilitate a broader and deeper approach to electrical and electronic engineering which leads to a formal qualification at the Masters level.
- The program duration is between 1-3 years full time depending on the student’s prior qualification/s.
- Program duration : 3 years full-time or part-time equivalent up to 8 years maximum.
- Key emerging technologies in the area of electrical and electronic engineering, which are currently transforming modern society, include intelligent electricity networks; integration of renewable energy sources; wireless energy transfer; autonomous transportation; telecommunication security; distributed sensing and smart-home solutions; Internet of Things (IoT) and machine-to-machine communication.
- The program focuses on:
- Fundamental background knowledge to successfully study electrical and electronic engineering at an advanced level.
- Advanced engineering skills and knowledge required by a practising electrical and electronic engineer.
- Capstone courses in electrical and electronic engineering while also completing an advanced level research program.
