- The Master of Professional Engineering is designed to help students develop skills in professional management, communication, and research methods and principles in the engineering discipline.
- Students undertake research and project work, and benefit from the industry focus of the program.
- Students participate in a professional industry project. This experience allows students to apply their knowledge and skills to industry problems. They also enhance students’ awareness of industry and provide valuable networking opportunities.
- Unique to this course is the Career Success Program (CSP) which aims to improve graduate employability by focusing on preparation for post-study career opportunities.
- Graduates will be able to lead and apply advanced technical and management skills to the design, procurement and maintenance of engineering projects.
- The course will also provide a pathway for graduating students to undertake PhD research in one of the specialist areas of engineering.
- To qualify for the Master of Professional Engineering, students must complete 200 credit points as follows:
- 9 core units (137.5 credit points)
- 4 specialisation units (from one specialisation) (50 credit points)
- 1 elective unit (chosen from any other specialisation) (12.5 credit points)
